I added a sub without anything but a line out converter, tweaking the amp, and messing with the Head unit controls until i i was happy. i dont understand how someone can be that picky over bass? the one thing i am unhappy with is the back plastic piece rattling like crazy. im Dynomatting the whole trunk sooner than i thought sheesh

^^ True... I guess i just wasnt as picky. Give it a shot and yes the Headunit controls the subs bass on a minimal level i messed with mine and its not like having an equalizer or anything i just turned the bass down so my speakers werent hitting and turned my amp a little up and it equaled out pretty well... I have had setups in many cars and this sounds fine to me.
