Ford Mustang Rear Turn Signal

Anyone know if there is a relay module or harness on the market that can modify tail lamps to do something like the ford mustangs?

I saw one on the road a little while ago, wasnt sure if it was a 2011 or not, but it looked amazing.

MODS: feel free to remove this post from DIY to the category it belongs in (general discussion?)

They're called sequential taillights. It's just a little module that plugs into the harness. Might be adaptable to the Forte?
Although we only have two taillights on each side, wouldn't be the same.... :(
wouldn't look right with just two bulbs IMO. If you can get a tail light with three then it would cool
^^ Exactly. You would need at least 3 bulbs (preferably in different housings/reflectors) to get a sequential effect. Otherwise, it will just look like your lights are messed up...
all i could find was mustang, cougar and motocycle modules anyways.

i guess you guys are right, probably would look bad with just two
well technically you have 3, two tail lamps and the turn lamp, but still, idk if that'd look right, just jumpy
Well if you did a custom LED panel for each reflector housing, then sequenced then in the LED Panel it may not look so bad...Hope you under stand what I am saying (an array of LEDs that could sequence).
I really think this kind of thing should be left to the stangs.
Also, why is this in DIY Articles?

That would definately work and look good, but is it worth all the trouble to make a one off
For some people yes, Would I consider doing it? Hell Yes....you have to remember some people like to be the first and have something that no one else does. For instance...I was the first in Canada to paint my door handles, as far as I know the first to have dyed the interior of the car (tan/biege to Dark Grey).

As for LED taillights, if I had the time...I would really look into this....as for a one off...if it worked well and was easy enough to reproduce how many others would like it?

I agree with it being awesome to be a first and to have a one off and I definitely see the possibility in distributing these (vary small scale for now) but I just don't think it would be worth the price of producing it for just one piece.....if someone does though I would love to see it cuz im sure it will look great
i say let the stangs have it they look good on them. on our cars it would probably look like sh**
Hey, saw this too and wondered if use a wig-wag relay would give a decent effect?
Would it be legal to have your two running lights alternate flashing with your turn signal?
Not sure if our light patterns would look good sequential either. Except for mayble a little relay for the individual LEDs on those lamps that made a circuit around the lightframe, but for the regular jewel-style, probably wouldn't look that good.
Easiest to purchase those aftermarket LED tail lamps and rewire the LED's into sequential order and stick a module on it.
With the 2011 led tailights it would be better it it move in one continuous stream like the red pixelated boards do with text. I know its an extreme and would probably be very distracting, it would really be unique. I am trying to think of where I have seen them before, maybe an airport or the DMV or something haha.
i saw this on a 2010 camaro (with 2 tails on each side) and it looked stupid.

but, i've been wanting to do a custom LED retro, and have a whole led tail be sequential. but i havent had luck with making a module for it. its too complicated. 555 timers and stuff
