Hello,

i am trying to find a used winter tires for Forte EX 2018. The OEM tires are 215/45R17 while I want to downsize to 16”.I found that the good match would be 205/55R16 , but what I am not sure is the rim.
Rim obviously needs to be 16” , but what offset should I use and is there any offset values I should avoid while looking for a used rims?
below is recommended rim size from wheel-size.com, what if I found a good deal of used tires/rims but offset is a bit different?

For the OEM sizes, and the 16" is part of the OEM size is a bit different, say 5 mm, it's not a problem. What is the offset of the rims you found?

Huh? Toyota Matrix!?
No way that's gonna fit. The off-set isn't the problem (45 mm). Matrix has a 5x100 mm bolt pattern and the centre bore (hub) is 54.1. Forte is 5x114.3 mm and centre bore is 67.1 mm.
Camry btw. has 5x114.3 mm bolt pattern BUT centre bore is 60.1 mm, so won't be able to mount, either. The only other brand I am aware of, which has both the same bolt pattern and centre hub is
Mazda.
