I am wondering if anyone knows what the largest size aftermarket wheel is that would fit on the Forte Koup ???

I know that stock it comes with 17"..... so I assume 18" would probably fit as long as the car wasn't lowered.

Any feedback?

18" would have to be wrap with such thin rubber that I personnely wouldn't not install it on my Koup. Road here are far from perfect. On 18" it would surely scrap the wheels in no time.
As for fitment look here http://www.kia-forums.com/kia-forte-forum/53729-winter-tires-5.html post #47

You could go as high as 19" but would have a super short tire and the ride would suffer. I would say 18" and a 235 would be as big as it gets, but 225/18/45 would be a great size for the car. FWD does not benefit from wide tires like a RWD or AWD do.

one guy at kiaforteforum has 20's on his and I can only imagine the ride, it's an EX, so the suspension is softer than the SX, but I wouldn't like it. I'll end up putting slightly wider tires on, maybe 235, but I'm keeping the 17" wheels, I really like them.

deep dish wheels are out it makes the wheels look smaller then they are if you look at the audi tt A4 they have flush sided wheels as the cars are a flatter finish and so is the forte its based on the civic and the audi A4 the wheel they released the forte koup with are shit the have rounded edges, and this make the wheel look even smaller than it is but as you said each to there own.

They're available in 'Anthracite' finish with the machined lip. I considered getting those but decided the silver finish would look better on a Bright Silver colored Koup.

Its not the wheel size that matters; its the tire size. Unless you're dropped you need to stay with a tire about 25, maybe 26" in diameter.
You can have 235/30x20 tires on 20" wheels; that tire is 25.5" diameter.
You can have 235/35x19 tires on appropriate19" wheels..
or 235/40x18 tires on appropriate 18" wheels.
Just rember, whilke steerin precision .increase witgh shorter sidewalls, the ruide gets rougher and having ridden with an owner with 19" wheels and tires, his drove like a farm cart. Didn't last too long on his car either.
Just out opf curiosity, why do you think you need bigger wheels?
