I really like the way the Koup bumper looks on the sedan.
I think that the bumper replacement would be some what
expensive. How expensive would this be? Any ideas?

You'd have to buy the fascia, inserts, lower grille, and fog lights -- plus any brackets or items that might be Koup only. With painting the fascia (bumper) I estimate the cost to be greater than $600, unless you could find a "donor" car in a wrecking yard that is the same color as yours...

It’s a shame the engineers at Kia didn’t think to do this or offer it as an option. I know it sounds silly but one of the factors that played a part in me going with the koup over the sedan was the more aggressive looking front end. If I could have gotten the 4 door looking like this I would have!

I have some idea of what it would cost to have the Koup bumper installed since it's been done in Singapore. I assume that it would not be over $1000.00 US. Here's what they are paying:

Forte Specialized Accessories

$300 (incl. bumper, top grille, bottom grille, fog lamps bracket, fog lamps) - All items are exactly the same as the bumper from the Forte Koup.

Est. Shipping Cost by Seafreight for min.6 unpainted bumper package: USD$ 250 (Sea Freight) USD$ 395 (Air Freight)

Custom Clearance & Taxes: $250 or lesser for a total of 6 bumpers

Paint and Installation for min.5 bumpers: $250 (still negotiating)

Overall Price per Bumper Package (inclusive of all the a/m) as of 27th Jan 2010 (Price is still subjected to changes if there are more then 6 orders):
