I was turning left and he come outa nowhere. Was blinded by lead car taking turn ramp ahead of him.
No matter how it happened or what the circumstances are Insurance will deem the left turner at fault (ME) YAY. Oh well you can replace cars but not people and just sore chests from airbags and belts was all that happened.

If airbags went off in the Camry, can't tell from pics. Then they will both be written off. I had some family members have an accident very similar to this.

Yea the airbags went in the Toyota too.
I should have added more options in the poll but can't seem to edit the rules. Is only for fun really anyway just looking for opinions cause it's killing me waiting for the answer from insurance. They're gonna hate me now since my Insurance is taking care of both cars etc... OUCH on my premiums I'm sure.
We only had her for a week and a half so I'm luck i got the depreciation clause on the policy which covers original price for 2 years. Should take care of most of the financing. We'll just have to get looking again. Not many left with the 2011s coming any day now. More money tho so hopefully we can find a 2010 SX Sedan somewhere in the Maritimes. I've heard there's none but one white one. Priced way high too.

The estimate for repairs came out to about $16k for that... so I would assume your car will also be considered totaled.

You'd have to get it through their insurance, since when you total your car you sign your title over to the insurance company and they then own the car. But perhaps the shop could tell the insurance company you're interested in it since they are just going to sell it for parts most likely anyway..

Yea, it's in NY I'm not sure where the yard is exactly, but I'll look through my papers and see if I can find a number for the salvage yard so you can give them a call.

Sorry I have no control over the sale or auction of the remains. You'd have to call the Cooperators Canada to ask about it.
If they do write it off I do know that it will go to an auction site in Halifax Nova Scotia as I've been told.
They still haven't decided on if it's being written off but anyone interested when and if it does I can give you my adjusters phone number if he says ok and you can work something out.

i looked a few months ago online and there were a bunch of fortes junked, maybe you could find an sx?

they will probibly write it off when i got in my accident it was 7 grand in damage and was only 11% away from being a total loss and my car didnt look nearly as bad as urs, heres what mine looked like

Just an update.
Got the call today on the quote for repairs and it's a minimum 17 thousand!
WOW!
I'm guessing the verdict will be to write my baby off. Should know in a couple days.
