Hello everybody,

Due to the lack of parts made for Forte Koup owners I would like to guage how many people would be interested in a front lip, side skirts, rear air diffuser (actually going to be functional) and/or a rear spoiler lip for Koups??? Let me know what you think and any input/ideas you have...you might want to keep an eye out for pictures in a month or so...just saying.

There is obviously interest -- just look at the SXR build thread and see how many "hits" it took. Problem with it is the $500+ cost for the rear lip spoiler and $400+ for the chin spoilers...all unpainted!!!! Probably shouldn't have had them made in Europe.

Surely you could come up with a lip spoiler and third brake light for a LOT LESS!!! For example I bought the new SportWing Koup spoiler -- painted and shipped for $165.75!!!!

You are correct. You can get less expensive parts for the Koup. But like everything else, you get what you pay for. The SXR bodykit and Spoiler are very high quality.

Think of it like dimonds & gold. You can get a 1 karat dimond ring for $2,000 or you can spend over $6,000 for a good quality one.

In markets there is everything for everyone.

Therefore the SXR kit may not be for everyone.

But if you spend approx $20,000 on a vehicle I would assume you would want good quality parts. If you buy a vehicle for $5,000 you may not care..

The SportWing Spoiler fits perfectly and the quality of the paint is excellent...why is their's only $165 Painted? You keep talking about quality...the quality is as good as my $270 unpainted Kia Spoiler -- which also fits perfectly. You insinuate that the SXR is like gold and diamonds -- is the plastic the SXR spoiler is made of some precious metal...I don't think so. You simply made the mistake of having it produced expensively to begin with...and assume that because it cost too much it is worth having. $20,000 for a vehicle is about average these days...and it gets me where I want to go just like a $200,000 dollar vehicle. I chose to spend wisely, not frivolously...especially when it comes to some pieces of plastic that are made of the exact same material... well designed as they are. How many have sold so far?

Unfortunately I cannot say too much at this time, but what I can say is parts are being fabricated as we speak. As for quality issues, these parts are going to be fabricated on the vehicle, so they will actually fit the car and not be a mass produced part that has to be made to fit. As for the materials we are still discussing what the final product will be made out of. The final material will vary depending on cost, since that is the biggest concern. Expect to see some carbon fiber to be incorporated and above all functionability. Their will be more to come in the following month, so keep an open eye. If you have any questions or concerns feel free to ask.

what's with all the secrecy? not even the name of a company or anything who may be developping the kit?? what's the harm in that? i'm hopeful of a different kit than the SXR one.....it's not overly aggressive looking.......can't say i hate it, but it needs more "balls". here's hopin we hear somethin soon about this new kit. cheers from the true north - strong and free.
