my forte now gives out unburnt gas smell from the exhaust, specially when i start it. i recently installed K&N short ram air intake. What can I do?

Have you tried resetting the ECU? Remove the positive terminal from the battery for a few minutes. Sounds like the air/fuel mixture could be messed up. Side note: K&N makes a Short ram intake for the koup? I thought they only had drop in filters...
