If I could ask for a favour from one of you fine people without fog lights currently in your car:

Head outside, and under the hood, open the fuse/relay box. Check the box top, and locate where the Fog Relay would be (pretty much the center of the box). Now, do you have a relay there? And if not, can you see down into the slots where the relay would go, is there anything "shiny metal connector" like?? or does it look like four black plastic slots without anything in them? To compare, pull the relay next to it out (hi beams) and see what it looks like under there...

If they are the same (meaning that the fog lamps HAVE the connectors inside the slots) then that means the harness it already likely there in a full capacity. So it's a matter of adding a few parts, and tada - fog lights on an EX/LX. if there isn't then there is a whole lot more that needs to be done (or just order the parts, and wire up a simple relay off your low beams, I suppose...

Honestly, I don't even use mine... they only make a difference for the first 10 feet in front of the car, and at the speeds I travel, 10 feet happens so fast I can't do anything about it, anyways.

While I have the screens open, if you want to add fogs into your bumper you'll need the lamps (922011M000 and 922021M000) and the grilles (865631M010 and 865641M010). Installing those four parts into your bumper will make it look like you've got fogs... they just won't actually turn ON without a bit more work.

ive checked already(not me personally but my mechanic) and i would be starting from scratch. ive no wiring or anything. thanks for those part numbers tho cuz i only want them for looks while im driving at night and/or just having them in during the day time and that would bring me a heck of a lot closer to having them than i am right now! :) oh and while im here, does anyone know of an electrical mod that keeps your side mirror blinkers on? like they only blink when you use your turn signal... at night that'd look pretty cool. like those big trucks have all their lights on, i could have the two front blinkers and the side mirrors lights on at night... just a thought tho haha

Headlight condensation

Has anyone else had issues with the headlamps getting fog on the inside of them?
I have been having the same issues on my SX Koup. During certain climate conditions there will be condensation buildup on the interior of the headlamp casing. It is imperative that you take your Forte in and have them changed. If not changed they will eventually become dirty and will lead to accelerated yellowing and decreased visibility. There is also the potential for electrical issues. I think this problem is more widespread but unknown to many Forte owners. Look for a recall as this vehicle becomes more popular.
