A big thanks to Aidensgrand for giving me the idea to do my Led's this way. Instead of on the bottom of the headlights, I had the strips put onto the top! I like the look of them this way better then Audi style!

Looks really good.
have this too, but i have a ccfl ring with the opened side facing up. its look like a bad eye and i m thinking about a red led in the projector. Just for a little .red halo in the lens
I also did a 28" white LED strip along the top of the headlight. I've had them for a month and originally thought (as others have mentioned) it would look cheap & cheesy. Yesterday, gave in and installed them. Very surprised but on black with DD Switchbacks & 8K HIDs they look pretty sweet. I'll get pics up this weekend.
Look forward to pics! I am in need of the switchbacks so that everything will mesh on my front end.
I like it! looks really good. I had them under the light before smith clubs, but this looks sick.
That looks friggen sweet! Can't wait to get my switchbacks! Waiting for delivery from DDMTuning.
Thanks, wasn't sure the reactions I would get. :) I thought about this for about 2 months before I put them on. Now that it's done, I do like top edge a lot, specially with the Switchbacks.
FlyTrap, it looks really good. Thinking of doing this myself now. Are these the switchbacks you guys are talking about?

Those are the ones I have on order. I believe Flytrap got his from Diode Dynamics.

DDMs look the same but ForteKaos is correct, I got mine from Diode Dynamics.
on the DDM website it says "When installing LED bulbs into turn signal lights you may need a set of Load Resistors to prevent hyper flash / dash lights." -- is this true, or is it straight up Plug&Play?

You're going to need either Load Resistors or Flash Modules.
With the LED Lights, they take less power, so your car thinks that there is no bulb in the housing and it's going to blink hella fast. The Load Resistor or the Module fixes that.:D
EP-34 LED flash relay is what I used. It replaces the stock relay, under the dash, near the steering column. Diode Dynamics also has one called the CP-13. And yes it is definitely needed.

The EPA-34 can be purchased at most any AutoZone or Pep Boys for about $12.

Thanks for all the details ForteKaos & FlyTrap. Which is easier to install? I'm not entirely comfortable fiddling with wires but if it's basic or near Plug&Play then this mod is definitely something I'd like to do.
From what I gather, it seems to me that the Flash Module is the easier of the two options. That's the way I'm gonna go when I get my switchbacks delivered.
looks nice!! I'll put it on my SX!! :) thanks for upload the photos
Is there already a DIY post for this?
There is a DIY instruction on here somewhere, I can't remember who posted it, but it's on here! If you do a search I'm sure it'll pop up:)
I got the headlight strip and my mp3/phone tray strip from Oznium.com
They seem to carry brighter strips then alot of other places!
Exactly which strip did you purchase? And can you post a daylight picture of them turned off so I can see exactly where these are put? Thanks man!
