The clear plastic on these aftermarket headlamps may not last that long in the sun. I've had a similar set in another car made from the same manufacturer and they fog up within 2 years.. I hope they have fixed this issue.

Can always heat up the lights and pop the plastic to change them... I'm planning on running a strip of silicone when I first get them all the way around to make sure the seal is tight.

I have no intention of running the angel eye on it, however, I do plan on adding a yellow LED strip along the bottom and wiring these so when the turn signal comes on the LEDs inside the lights turn off and then come back on again.

I currently just have a dual coloured strip right now that I have wired to do that, my only worry is the power inverter.... But I suppose I can run the relay after the power inverter and then from the relay back to the LEDs.

Who knows anything about inverters?

Here was a link I found that shows what the backside of the lights look like detail KSPEC KDM Performance Center

damn i wish i was good with cars... i barely know half the things zabes is talking about and i do not want to go to the dealer or anything to get it installed i took mechanics in high school and i can change head lights but i wish i could do that turn signal thing i've always liked that.

You need a relay on each light, capacitors, resistors etc... here is a link to what it looks like and the difference will be the LEDs inside the new lights will turn off and the turn signal will come on.

thanks zabes! those are some sick lights and mikey dude i can not wait to get my headlights now!! those look dope. and ya when i get pics up i'll do some stock first then new ones but head lights wont be here till like the 9th. but ya cant wait and i hope everyone's having as much luck with their lights!

Iv noticed the original link posted in this form says that they require h7 bulbs for low and h1 for high beams but this seller offers the with HIDs but they are expensive

Well I can tell you that the wiring on these are interesting.

First the LEDs do not come on until the parking lights are on, which to me defeats the purpose of LEDs.

I have so far been able to wire them in such a way that just the halo is on as the car is running and then the LEDs come on with the headlights, but not my ideal situation, I want the LEDs on during the day time....

I figure I can know more by heating these up and opening them, but that is the last thing I want to do.

One easy way would be to wire your front parking lights to be on all the time; with switchbacks that would make for a pretty clean look. I'll have a look at mine tomorrow.

If your going to spend the $500 on these headlights you really should buy the $40 switchbacks. they really complete the look IMO

OK well got it all done, I accidently wired the inner lights to 30 on the relay instead of 87a which was why it was giving me fits.

Anyway, I've got it now set up with the LEDs as DRL's and they turn off with the turn signals and then everything else comes on as normal.

Here is the youtube clip, sorry about the sound, I'm don't have time to edit it.

Not sure if he did it for this reason, but I'm pretty sure it's for legality issues. They're supposed to do that for legal purposes. If you look at any new Audi or the like with LED DRL's, you'll notice they do the same thing.

* BTW, looking good!

Little of both, for legal reasons, no light can be within 3" of your turn-signal or must be disabled for the signal to be visible by law... and second because I wanted to see if I could do it and I tend to like the look of it.

Running the LEDs as DRLs is actually VERY easy, you just need to cut the brown wire inside the high beams, you need to know which direction the current is coming from (I don't remember off hand) but power up the lights, unclip the brown/black wires inside the high beam, see where the power is coming from and then you just need to cut power onwards from there and send power to them directly through a fused power source that only comes on when the car is on.
