For all you iphone people, i found a really neat app the other day. It's a heads up display! Basically displaying your speed, direction, and time on the windshield. How it works is you place your iphone on the dashboard in front of you, and it reflects in the windshield. It works really great at night, not so much during the day, unless.... place the iphone on the dashboard, where you want it, cut a little piece of tint on the windshield, where you want the HUD to be, and there ya go! Just becareful of your phone sliding off the dashboard while making turns. lol I used self sticking velcro for easy removal. The app is called "asmart hud" i believe it cost like $1.99 or something. Well worth it!

Seems neat but kind of inconvenient to lose the info should your phone go to sleep / get a phone call, text message, notification etc I would have to constantly remove it to clear notifications etc

when the app is on, it doesnt go to sleep, as for the phone calls and texts, you know youre not supposed to be on the phone while driving!! thats a $250 ticket in NYC! lol i guess you could put it into airplane mode while driving! i feel like a loser cause no one has called me or sent me a text while ive beem using it. I'm not popular! lol

Not using your phone while driving completely defeats the purpose of the standard bluetooth connectivity feature

Airplane mode would stop Bluetooth phone calls from coming in etc and would then male it worthless .

I get tons of texts from MLB, NFL, and then friends of course and it would just get annoying.

Again .. Neat idea if I had an iPod touch and it worked with that, but not for my phone

Nice find. Thanks. I have it installed now. Nice to have a red light camera notification now with proper speed for it displayed. I knew where a few of them were but not some of the ones shown here.
