Welcome aboard! What engine do you have in your Camaro?
The rear wheel drive of the Camaro and the extra weight they have wouldn't really be a big deal to drive it in the winter. I gave some very serious consideration to picking up an 11 Mustang instead of the Koup, but just couldn't find one up here. I wouldn't be worried at all about driving a new rwd car in the winter.
To be honest, fwd sucks except for initial traction because of the weight over the drive wheels, but once you are moving, rwd is better in terms of handling.
