Hey guys. I stumbled across this site while looking for alloys for my new Forte sedan.
I don't know why the car magazines say the handling is bad on the sedan versions of this car. My Forte' cuts through twist and turns on back-roads like a knife. I find it very satisfying. All I want is to to buy a set of rims off the coupe, tint the windows a bit, and that is all!

I do think the 4 speed automatic is outdated and geared way to tall in 2nd gear, where the engine bogs down. I know it is like that for fuel economy reasons, but I really don't like it. Thats all. The rest of the car is tight.

I too read things about this car that I found un-true mine handles great, picks up good and has heads turning.

Thanks for welcoming me. I just bought my car in December. (The last sales day of December so they would have to give me a deal!).

I primarily want to know just how much faster is the SX with the 2.4 liter. It seems like it would be almost the same, considering the 2.4 weighs 84 pounds more than the 2.0! Just curious.
