Driving at Speed of Light can you see HIDS

So...picture this... You are driving through space at the speed of light in your Forte (enter your version here). And you turn on your HID headlights would you see them?

A. no you are driving too fast.
B. yes Michelson-Morley experiment proved it
C. Haters say yes but you are blinding oncoming Martians

Crap!!!!!

I forgot option D: No. I didnt order the harness so I cant get my damn HIDS to work.

1st, impossible for anything with mass to travel at the speed of light, so before we get to that, let's answer a more realistic question (slightly more realistic anyways!) and say you are going at 99% the speed of light.

According to Einstein’s special theory of relativity (which has been experimentally tested and proven successful many many times over) the speed of light is constant for any observer regardless of their speed. This means that, you, sitting in the car would see the light moving away at the speed of light! you would observe the light moving away from your headlights as if you were sitting still

After the cheap paint peels off and the creases pop out because the car will be on fire, I'm gonna have to say no on that one
The basis of relativity is that there is no special place in the universe, and no special speed of objects. You can only say that an object is travelling relative to another object. So. If you are in your spaceship, you can observe that the stars are moving past you at nearly the speed of light (objects cannot travel at the full speed of light).

To you, your spaceship is stationary. So of course, light you project in any direction will move at .. the speed of light away from you.

This might sound stupidly over-simplified, but it is not. It is really that simple :)

i always try to explain it like this. Lets say you know you can throw a ball at 20mph. Now you hop in your car and drive down the road at 20mph. lean out the window and throw the ball. for a short period (forgiving resistance, gravity, and a host of other issues not relative in space) the ball should be going "roughly" 40mph

No!!! Cause you're in the car and you can't see your lights cause they're outside the car and there's nothing to reflect the light from the HID's! Damn I'm smart!
I agree with K.I.A. it won't work cause they're nothing to reflect off of.
