Somebody know how install a HID conversion kit on a forte EX ?


at the same time, somebody have the fog lamp assembly to sell? lol

They sell the foglight assembly on ebay, but wiring harness not sure. I already did the install but They are not hooked up. I guess you would have to buy the bulbs, ballest, and harness. Plus wire it to a switch on your dash. Or buy the SX turn signal assembly and ON OFF PARKING switch. Just my guess though. Im not the electrical guy on this site thats for sure.

I bought fog lamp assembly (with plate), HID 55w 8000k light, 30 feet of 16 gauge wire, fuse holder and switch.

Total of cost: 230$ can. ... Thx Ebay!!! lol

Hope it will work perfectly!....haste to see it!

DANG I don't know about puting the fog lights, go to your dealer I think they put them for you, but about the HID's on them, thats eazy, just plug and play, the bulb size is 881 if i recall, all you need to do is lift your car remove the cover under the car and you'll get your hands there eazy...

kia need to repaint my car in next month, so I will put the fog lamp at the same time.

for the bulb size, it don't mater, the EX don't have the fog lamp so I just took any HID and I will fit the wire to my switch

if I ever got fogs i'd wire them up as DRL's and add those snazzy Audi style lights into the DRL system haha that would look sweet.
