I've been waiting 2 days now (yes, I am VERY impatient) since I bought my forte for them to call me back and tell me they located it. If they didn't have your Koup on the lot how far did they drive it in from? Or did you just wait till they got a delivery?

I decided I wanted a forte koup one day, the next day I was calling the dealer, I told them I wanted the koup, racing red, top of the line. They said the owner of the dealer was waiting for that same exact model, color and top of the line for him. I said that's the one I want, the owner of the dealer said, ok is yours. I waited 2 days for it to arrive and got it the same day it arrived like at 9:00pm.

He has a white koup for him now.

Decided I wanted to look at a Koup, walked in the showroom and there she sat. My local dealer actually had about 10 in stock, but only one loaded black SX, six speed. They were a little pissed when I asked them to take it off the showroom floor for a test drive...but they were happy when they didn't have to put it back.

Sucks you have to wait!

don't have a koup but I had been looking at the dealership for a used car. the used car didnt work out but they called to ask if I wanted to get a forte. I walked in to test drive one and thye asked which color I preferred, and there it sat right in front of me on the showroom floor, black sedan. Test drove it then drove it home an hour later.

I actually went to the dealership with my wife who wanted to trade her Mitsubishi spyder gt in on a Borrego. While she was signing the paper work . I noticed a hot little 2 door sitting over in the showroom corner. I went over and sat down in it and fell in love. Next day I drove the H3 to the dealership and left with the Koup.

Originally I was going with a black SX 6 spd sedan, but they could only locate one in Vancouver, BC and it would take 2 weeks to get to London, ON. I changed my mind and went with my titanium SX 6 spd sedan and they located one in Hamilton, ON, an hour and a half away. It still took 3 days to get into the car; a day to deliver it and two days to prep it for me (they just did a huge December blow out deal and had 36 sales in 2 days and were swamped getting new cars ready). Either way, it took more than a day or two to drive my car away once they found it.

Ok, guys, next question....If they can't locate your KOUP then what is the wait time
for an ordered car or has anyone had this experience?

In late January when I decided to get the Koup SX, they didn't have my color+6spd in stock on Wednesday but they found one on Thursday, took delivery on Monday, car had 180 klicks on it and it wasnt a demo so I presume that's how far they went to get it.

I put a deposit on my Racing Red Koup SX 6spd on February 1st while it was at sea (coming from Korea, I assume) and had to wait for it to land in Canada, then travel on rail and truck from the west coast to Kingston, Ontario. I finally brought it home on February 24th (just over 3 weeks).
