The scuff plates go on the bottom door frame when the door is open to keep from scratching the plastic molding that is stock. You should be able to run the wiring to the fuse box since it is very near the driver door. Tap into the ignition fuse so the scuff plates turn off when the ignition is off or do clearance lights fuse, it's up to you.

no, i just didn't look under engine mods for a lighting / audio modification/. I was viewing active topics. My bad.
Is this a engine mod?
Eventually as your car ages, more and more info shall surface. As the number of "mods" increase, im sure your neighborhood moderator will fix the areas. They are all in one basket....
I notice none of the posts in that area are stickys... Thanks for showing me lighting mods were in the engine area.........Ahem system admins? ( not mods)
