^ are you jailbroken? Cuz that's happening to me too but my iPhone is jailbroken so I'm assuming it has something to do with that. If you are, then just go back to normal and it'll work. If not then idk :(

my iphone 3G worked fine charging or playing music with KIA ipod cable. I recently updated my 3G to IOS 4.2.1 and now am getting the msg you are getting. It kicks me off every 5 sec. or so just trying to charge. I went to the dealer which put there "tester" setup for the cable and everything registered fine so no fix. I even asked about possible firmware updates for the stereo due to this being a problem for many. I received deer in the headlights. useless! so for now like others just bluetooth streaming audio and using a cigerete lighter charger!! might revert phone back to ios 3, but meeting my needs for now!

hey guys how do you stream audio (iPod, Pandora, ect.) through bluetooth?
First you would have to have Pandora on your mobile device. Your mobile device would have to be hooked up to the internet. Connect the bluetooth on your phone to your car. Any audio coming out of your phone will now come out of the speakers when the bluetooth is connected between the phone and the car.

Once you have your phone paired via bluetooth, use the "mode" button to cycle the options - select mp3 play and you can choose music stored on your iPhone 4. I am using a 5-door SX model until my manual 5-door arrives...that method worked for me today.

Do you think this works with ipod touch's as well? On the 2010 sedans? I know that the ipod touch's and iphones use diffrent bluetooth stacks. Hmm gonna try it out tomorrow and Ill let you guys know :)

**Just tried to connect an ipod touch 2nd gen and it failed, maybe if it were jailbroken with a diffrent bluetooth stack it might work.
