I got an ipod cable from ebay (for 15$) for my Kia Cerato/Forte SX to use my iphone 3G 16Gb. But at first it didn't work and it gave me a message on the radio "Loading error". i have searched the internet for a solution and many claimed that ugrade to iOS v4 caused the problem which i have already did. so i tried downgrade to 3.1.3 but things went wrong and I reflashed iOS v4.1 (latest) and surprisingly after flash and reupload of songs ........IT WORKED WITHOUT PROBLEM. it only gives you a warning that accessory is not fully compatible.....just ignore it

So i confirm that IPHONE 3G v4.1 works with no problem with the following remarks:

1-It works whether phone was on or off or in airplane mode when you plug it in.
2-You can use wheel drive control to change tracks.
3-It continues to play last song played when you replug it so long that you have'nt restarted the phone.
4-No interference with engine noise
5-Works with over 8Gb of songs.
6-Works on jailbroken firmware.
7-It charges while plugged it.

so it was the restore that solved

I thought this may be of help

Can anyone else confirm this? I'm getting my first oil change done today, and I asked if I could borrow a cable to see if it'd work on my iPod, as I've heard rumours it wouldn't, and when we tested it out, I got the "Loading Error" as well. I currently have iOS 4.0, and if I knew I could just upgrade to 4.1 and it'd work, I'd def just buy the cable.

I'm using an iPod Touch, and was just hoping for at least one more confirm, before I actually spent the money to test it.

Thanks in advanced!

I had the 3g with OS 4.1 and now the iphone 4 and both worked great with the cable.
