I have a 2010 Koup. One time on a cold morning I notice a squeaky noise appearing to come from the glove box area. I was using the defrost only since the ice was thick that day. I switched to the floor heating and quickly noticed the noise disappeared. Normally I have the heat set to the floor/defrost position and I haven't heard it again. This appears to be contraction/expansion of the plastic to metal or plastic to plastic parts that a simple gasket would fix.

I have the squeaky noise from the glove box too. Regarding the seat, I had the problem fixed because there was a coil that was shaky. Now I have the noise again and have an appointement for this coming Friday...

I had a squeak for months, sounded like a belt.. or pulley then I went to put on tires and wheels, car fell off the jack :( but since then no more squeak.. so it was the first time a eff up ended being a fix up lol..

No noises inside the car.. other then a rattle from the door when the music is up.. seems normal for our cars..

My "oh sh*t handle" clatter over bumps, I'm 2 seconds away from ripping it off... and my dash squeaks when I have dearest on, but only until it heats up. Oh and the dealer fixed my squeaky sun roof.... so that's about it so far.

To answer your question kris, it's always a risk to buy a car in it's introduction year. The fact that you have a 2011 model, I would bet that many of the issues that the 2010's had would be fixed on the 11's. I've owned new cars from japanese auto makers, to american, and even the swedes! No matter how expensive or how reliable the reputation, new models are gonna have issues. Hopefully they won't be major ones like engine or transmission like the one that plagued Honda in the early 2000's. I think given the list of issues that seem to be common in our Koups, I think they are relatively minor and if they surface, are easy to fix. Let's hope it stays that way!

A+ I was going to say the same exact thing. I have 03 Tib Introduction year, I have alot of rattles and such the the other years didn't come with and a failing clutch issue but that is a different story.

Nice Answer. +rep even tho i don't really have much (Well nevermind I guess they don't have rep system here)
