Is this supposed to be on my car?

In front of my back wheels, on the sideskirt/fender, there is a white sticker approximately 3" by 5".

My car had a pretty terrible PDI, I've found all kinds of stickers/tape left on it, but I'm not sure if these were supposed to be removed or if they are meant to stay on for protection.

There's a protective film at that place. If your ride is white then it's normal........

Those stickers are suppose to be there. They are a protective layer because that is a high impact area for debris because the fender flares out. I have the same black stickers on my black car. Speaking of bad PDI though...I have maybe a half dozen spots where the dealer pulled stickers off, but left the glue behind.
if its behind the door before the rear tire, it is 3m protective film. keep it on but after a few washes it will come off. i try to wash that area softly cuz i want that film to stay on as long as it will, keeps rock chips from happening
Ok, thanks for the quick replies. They are really quite subtle, and had it not been for the shoddy PDI, I would have assumed they are supposed to stay on.

There were 2 big pieces of clear tape on my rear deck, a huge piece of plastic/tape going across my glovebox, stickers on the wheels/wheel wells/antenna.
I had those film strips on my car and barely noticed them but I wasn't sure if they were supposed to be left on or not. So, I ripped em off the same day I took my car home... oops. Now I wish my whole car was covered in that film because the paint on this ride is not the greatest if you know what I mean.
They are stone guards and they need to be there is protect the paint i hope you did not take them off !!!1
i only noticed the 3m protective tape because dirt is building up along the edges. :(

I have my sedan washed once-a-week at the local hand-wash place down the street, but I guess it gets overlooked or something. oh well.

a lot of people talk about the bad paint quality, but I haven't had an issue... yet...

i drive on roads that are frequented by construction trucks that don't cover their loads, so there are a lot of bouncing pebbles on the freeways, and so I am considering adding the clear "bra" to the fenders and hood. i just wish it weren't so expensive...

They left the shipping tape on my sunroof so when I was driving I noticed something flapping in the wind... by the way it gets really dirty in there!
maybe kia makes em special for us aussies, but i have no complaints with the paint quality on my black koup, as good as the mazda 3 it replaced:)

I was totally going to mention that... Mine was left on too.. It seems like an easy spot to overlook.
