Meet Junco.
Seeing that when I told myself this would stay a bone stock car, we all know that's a lie, so here's the start of my build thread and journey.

Wheels and tires are on, had to snap a quick pic shortly after my test drive, making sure my tpms is programmed.
I'm pretty happy with this setup.
With those wheels your calipers would really look good in red!

I'm actually more of a yellow caliper sl*t. I've been holding back because of all the red accents, but I absolutely love yellow calipers. Here's my other rig...

If a Guila can pull it off, I think I can make it look better with a Forte...

Took a trip to Whitefish, Montana.
Chipping away at the edits, but I'm pretty proud of this one on my way to Leavenworth so I had to share.

Finally hit the dyno!

I installed HKS M45XL plugs gapped at .022.
This is an interesting set of runs..

This was on a bolt on hub dyno.

My base line, which are the lower green and red runs, were higher numbers than what is advertised that these cars had.

The upper section of shenanigans are all the variants we tested the racechip at.
My runs were:
Stock
Level 3
Level 5
Level 7
all with and without sport modes.

I don't think it does increase as much as they claim to, but I also don't know why my base numbers are higher than crank rating.

We noticed that each level increase on the racechip was about 1-2hp and 3-5tq.

We also noticed that total peak numbers between sport mode active and not is negligible, but the torque hit's a little more aggressive on the bottom half of the rev range, and the throttle body opens up wider.

Total increase over stock to level 7 is around 36.5wtq and 17.5whp.

Overall, the GTS Black on level 7 in sport mode feels incredible in comparison, and as you can see, the torque band is why this car feels so good.

Mad shouts to Drive Auto Sports in Everett, WA.
Incredible crew, and super knowledgable. I'm honored to be the first Forte GT to hit their dyno!

I'll do another dyno day with rollers and see if there's a significant difference in my numbers, but for now, enjoy this:

Stock appears underrated.
What octane? Did the car feel stronger with the stock plugs. I know my plugs are looking perfect stock and with stock gap. Are you 6spd or dct?

91 since day one, because I knew I was going racechip in two months. I wanted that tank to be completely 91 by the time I was ready.
It feels the same with the HKS plugs as it was with stock, but I never ran Level 7 with stock plugs. Everyone said to refrain from that and use HKS instead.

My GT is a 6MT!

That is nice to see. If you actually compare them at the same rpm and across flatter sections and not just the peaks it makes more sense the way everything feels. I prefer to drive in level 5 daily which is generally the strongest from 2000-4500 rpm. For full throttle acceleration from 4500-6000 level 7 is the better choice, but not by much. What I did not expect to see is the torque and hp for level 3 from 2000-3800. I might actually start using level 3 for my daily since it has the highest torque values for the rpm I actually drive in.

Comparing base sport mode to level 7 sport mode on your graph, hp is what I expected but torque I thought would be higher.
40hp gain at 5200rpm
45ft/lbs at 4700rpm
I've installed a black Velossatech big mouth ram pipe and I have noticed how much less throttle input it needs to cruise at speed.
Might need to snag a Takeda soon... I really want to hear the spooligan noises.
