Yeah thats the stock grey primer paint. It rubs off easily onto things. Had mine painted flat black when I received it like that. I have a red colored car so the grey didn't look good compared to your car's color with it. It is a soft primer so you may want to paint it soon before it gets marked up. May have to re-primer it before painting if you get bugs, wax or some other contaminates and such on it.

Ya man good choice. I love the Roadruns grill on mine. The pictures look good but really do it no justice until you see it on a car in person. No regrets on ditching my stocker.

Also considering you have an SX i would get it painted in the Ebony Black to match the rest of the front. Here is a clicky to my Silver SX thread with it painted to give you an idea of what it looks like.

Overall with the high gloss ebony black on the front of the SX i think having the grill painted kind of brings it all together.

P.S. If you undo the two zip ties holding the horn wire you can relocate it to the center bar by the radiator should you so choose. This way the horn doesn't show up through the grill.

Thanks for the tip man...But im doin a set of hella horns in the front grill. Today I went to a body shop to get my roadruns front grill painted. The painter wanted to see the black trim color so he was sure to paint the grill the right color. As i was givin the manager my info he went out to the parkin lot to find my car. He came back in and said...."which ones your car man"? I said that one right there!!!! He said " WOW! THATS A KIA"!!!! :D I love it.

someone should contact roadruns and ask them to make a badge for the rear with the r on it or somthing so the front and back match up
