Does AEM make a DryFlow drop-in air filter for the Forte? I've looked everywhere for a "DRY" Air Filter just to avoid the oiled up ones.

Yes, panel filters are vehicle specific.

AEM - contact youre dealer & quote Canada Koup SX-R bulletin AY10 007. Parts may be available in May 2010.

Conical filters are pending size (space & tube size). Some folks have also put conical filters in there stock airbox.

I've been using Stockkkkkkkk filters for about 50 years. I would like to add that I have never had ANY AIR FILTER RELATED ENGINE ISSUE with any of my cars (43 cars in all) of both American and foreign manufacture.

My vote would go for a dry paper filter element also if the poll was not close. I want the cleanest air going into my engine.

k&n without a doubt, marginal performance gains, it lasts the lifetime of the engine if you take it out once a year and clean it and re oil it, its only $45, and it sounds a whole lot cooler.

Ok K&N lets put the idea of any Hp gains out of heads here
and think about just saving wear and tear on the motor
I living in az a place full of sand /dust and dirt would rather have the K&N in my car
why you ask?

because the Oil helps trap more dirt and to be honest the less dirt that gets into your motor the longer its going to last..
plus if you buy the K&N it will last for a loong time and if you buy 5 stock air fillters for you Koup you just paid for the K&N..
why not add a extra level of defence for your motor??

Bottom line is to each his own! If you are using stock air filter the 10/100,000 applies no matter where you live in the U.S. Cheers.
