Kia is considering providing a spoiler for the Koup by Spring. If you'd be interested in a spoiler for the Koup please let Kia know by taking this poll.

This thread isn't to cause a discussion on spoilers just to let Kia know if there is enough interest.

Personaly I'd rather have a factory spoiler for fit and finish...not against aftermarket spoilers because if Kia doesn't provide one I will most likely be getting one...LoL!

Sedan SX or Koup SX? The sedan has a factory spoiler available but not yet the Koup...doesn't mean you can't put one on a Koup though...it is listed in the parts book for the 4 door only...

Red SX Koup. Leather, sunroof, blah, blah, blah. With a factory rear spoiler. It is not a lip, has a short lift off the deck, tips curve back down to the fenders, lines were nice, not over the top. Looked good in red. It was a 500 dollar adder. I bought an SX Koup as my commuter car, had a Spectra, it was bullet proof but ugly and boring. I have several high end vehicles that set in the drive I use for other activies, but the Kia is the one I am in every day. Never thought I would by one, much less become a repeat customer.

Anyway, check out Southwest Kia. It was on their showroom floor on Monday of this week.

Are you saying the spoiler shows up on the pre-printed section of the window sticker, or on the add-a-tag that the dealer prints?

The Corsa Blue Koup on the showroom at Huffines - McKinney has the same spoiler on it, installed by an aftermarket supplier who travels around to dealerships installing accessories.

Didn't look to see if it was on the invoice or the dealer adds. If/when I go back for anything, I'll have to look. I just saw the bottom line on the dealer price tag. MIght be dealer offered after market. Looked good either way.

Actually, the forte koup I am planning to buy has a spoiler on it! It looks great! But it is not lighted... which I would love to have. But here it is hard to find an SX withOUT a spoiler.

I'm new btw.

carID.com now has 2 spoilers available for the Koup, one is the "SI" style spoiler and the other has some nice downturned ends. Can you post some pictures of the Koup you are planning on buying? The dealers in your area are getting aftermarket spoilers as one is not available from Kia yet.

Alright. I'll try to get some pictures whenever my next visit is! I was a bit confused when I first saw the car... I said to the salesman, "The forte has a spoiler???". Though now that I think about it, he never said anything to that remark...

I think that's the spoiler that is referred to as the "SI" spoiler<<<not!

Correction: that is not the aftermarket "SI" spoiler -- it is a unique spoiler. I will be calling that dealership to see who makes that spoiler.

Contacted the dealership...the parts department has nothing to do with the spoilers. Sales sends the cars out to have the spoilers put on their Koups by dallasautomotiverestylers -- they have a website:

I looked on their site but the Koup spoiler they have pictured on their website doesn't look like the black EX Koup pictured above. I am waiting for some more information and if given the permission to post their telephone number, spoiler part number, and cost I will.

Yep, and they have another one I'm interested in (but want some different shot pics of before I buy) for only $99.00...I hope Kia provides a spoiler soon before I go aftermarket...LoL!
