I don't know how many people know that Kinetic Motorsports runs two Kia Forte Koups (SX) in Grand Am (Continental Tire Series). Last season was okay, the best they did was 5th, but it was a new car and I don't know how much the drivers had worked with each other.

This year they had a great start with a 2nd place finish in their class (ST) and 23rd over all at GRAND AM 200 on Friday. The race was in Daytona and it is suppose to air on Speed TV next Saturday at 3pm EST (so noon for me).

I hope that the racers can keep it up for the season and see a podium at the end of the season.

Here are some cool links for it.

#10's top speed was only .034 seconds slower than the first place GTI in this race!

Second place is impressive!

The #12 car was 23rd...and if I read it right it was due to a broken seat?...LoL!

Let's hope they finish a race 1-2 this year!

You know what's funny: I was told this in person by the receptionist at KSS Motorsports. The manager and his team got back yesterday and they are recuperating. I actually found out about the Type R Concept a few weeks back and was impressed, but did not find out until last week from my dealer's technician that the company responsible is based in Georgia, where I am located :) I decided to give them a visit today after school, and when I pulled up, there was a Porsche and a Benz parked out, fully modded. I spoke to the receptionist and she took down my name and number so the manager can give me a call this week. From what I've gathered, they made a custom strut bar that is visible in one of these pics:

When I talk to them, I will ask if they are willing to market whatever they made for the public and keep you guys updated. Here are some pics I took of the cars outside, excuse the close ups, I only had my zoom lens on at the time and was in a hurry (high res uncompressed, sorry):
