i would like to know this, because i Heard that in some countries,the price of a small car can cost as much or even more than a BMW or a Mercedes here in Canada or the U.S.

remember, size doesn't matter...it's how you use it...LOL!!!

Not that bad,i would have tought it would have been pricier than that downunder.

Although Hawaii is the 50th state, the cost of living here is ridiculous. But I was surprised what the Kia Dealership offered me.

well, singapore is one of them... price now for a 2.0M SX is around USD 60k

Are you serious ! 60 K for a Koup,Now that's hard to beat,how can you afford a car in Singapore?

well, whats the conversion from canadian dollar to singapore? or USD to singapore? that plays a big role. i think that 1 usd is almost doubled if not tripled in singapore... i could be wrong tho.

EDIT: 73 us cents is equeal to 1 singapore dollar, so if a koup is 60k in singapore, its roughly 43k in US :/ wow

like I said, its USD 60k... meaning its more than SGD 80k

In Korea, you only have 1.6 and 2.0 engines. I bought the top model in the 1.6-- it was equivalent to $14,000 US before taxes ($15,500 after taxes). That includes everything like smart key system, sonar, full leather, etc..

I'm not into driving fast so I didn't need the 2.0 and the higher insurance

I think cost of living needs to be factored into it also. Sort of like with the Singapore situation. When everything is taken into consideration- you get a better deal buying a Koup in Korea. However, if you try to buy an American car or foreign car- you pay double the value in USD!!!

actually aud$23144 drive away with a bit of dealer arm twisting,there is only one koup model in aus 2.0l motor 17" alloys,climate control aircond cloth seats and 5 spd manual plus an extra 2000 bucks if u want an auto(4 speed only atm)

kia really screwed us aussies over

Price for a Koup here is Rs. 900k roughly USD 28k... not cheap considering our cost of living... and we get the 1.6 version only... and no EC mirror, cruise control or even bluetooth... just plain 6 CD...
