So I have to admit... I like the LED strips. But since they're getting so popular (I'm seeing 1988 Civics with them now!!), I decided to go a different route.. Also my LED signal bulbs didn't have enough contrast between the running light and the signal light. These strips have 5050 LEDs, so they're very bright.

Let me know what you think.

With the headlights off (lock/unlock/hazzards):

With the headlights on (hazzards/right and left turn):

If you guys are insterested, I'll do up a full DYI post.

It would be nice to have alternating LED's on a strip. Whites and Amber. White stay on w/ headlights and amber flash w/ turn signal. I'd imagine though that the white would need to turn off in order to see amber while turning but maybe not if the amber were bright enough.

I was planning to do the same thing with the oznium strips on TOP of the headlight, but great job, i really like it. I am thinking of replacing my strips with "Warm white" that way it more Audi, and less ricey

I like them
can you have them on when the headlights are on too?

Definitely.. I'll try and get some pics with the lights on. I just had the garage door closed, so I didn't want to start the engine.. I was afraid I'd get too sleepy ;)

JDM had switchback led strips, look them up on google, they're pretty neat

They have this on a lot of korean aftermarket car parts sites. But in order to do this you need to crack open the head lights... So I don't think I've seen anybody that's done this yet..

Btw Linear: Those look great! :D

Thanks fas! I was thinking about the alternating white/amber strips too, but you're right, you need to bake the lights.. And I was a little worried about the white being too "cool white" and attracting too much attention from the police if they think it's a flashing blue light... I'm trying to give them as few reasons to pull me over as possible!
Also all the alternating boards/strips I've seen for the Koup are ~$150.. This only cost $20 and only took 20min :D

Linear...the mod looks great..you might want to becareful if you get the switchback leds type. I mean if the light alternates from Amber to White back to amber, the ministry and police might have an issue with that. It would not be a true flasher and could be mistaking as an emergency vehicle flashers. An on and off is fine but from what I know the alternating colour is not.
