I have a 2021 GT-Line, I have 2 questions.
1. What would be the best springs for comfort, performance and reliability/dependability?
2. Would putting the springs on cause the warranty to be VOIDED?
Thank you in advance for any help and information.

I have a 2021 GT-Line, I have 2 questions.
1. What would be the best springs for comfort, performance and reliability/dependability? Factory Kia Springs
2. Would putting the springs on cause the warranty to be VOIDED? THE Warranty - NO! Only problem would be it the aftermarket springs cause problems.
Thank you in advance for any help and information.
I've been trying to find springs specifically for the GT-Line but not having any luck.

Hopefully someone with a non-GT forte can provide some info.

You don’t have a lot of options for a non-GT. GT lowering springs will work, but the gap will be pretty big in the back. I wouldn’t recommend it. If you can swing for coilovers, Godspeed and Rev9 both make some (low end Godspeed: Godspeed MonoSS Coilovers Kia Forte Sedan [Torsion Beam] (2019-2020) MSS0183 High end Godspeed: Godspeed MonoRS Coilovers Kia Forte Sedan w/ Rear Torsion Beam (19-20) MRS1421 Rev9: https://www.amazon.com/Rev9-R9-HS2-072_2-compatible-Hyper-Street-Adjustment/dp/B07YLC7KD6 ) Haven’t read about peoples experience with either Godspeed option, but people seem to like the Rev9 option for the money. This also allows you to dial ride comfort and height to your preferences.
For lowering springs, you basically only have one option. People have recommended either M&S Storm lowering springs (K5 Optima Store has them - Storm Lowering Springs as well as on M&S’ own website K3 FORTE (BD) LOWERING SPRINGS — M&S America ) or Eibach lowering springs for the AD chassis (2017-19 I think) non-turbo Hyundai Elantra, which is basically the same car. Can’t find a US link to those though, and I also haven’t been able to find anyone who has experience with either option. I’ve been running into the same problem, since I want to lower my ‘21 FE manual. Might just have to bite the bullet on one set and go for it.

The warranty wouldn’t be voided because suspension is classified as a wear item and therefore isn’t covered anyway. Talked to my Kia sales guy about it when I bought my FE instead of a GT.

It's tough for find non-GT springs with the torsion beam setup. However some people have had mild success with Eibach springs made for the Hyundai Elantra (AD) [Part Number E10-42-039-01-22). But as noturbonoproblem suggested, if you're picky about your appearance and ride heights, better go with coilovers.

For warranty it will only void suspension warranty and possibly make it difficult on any other components (ie- premature wear of the shocks, suspension components, bushings, etc). The thing to keep in mind is the insurance policy. Some insurance companies are very strict about aftermarket modifications. If you don't get their approval beforehand in writing, and you were involved in an accident and they found out you had aftermarket springs on your car, they can potentially void your policy. It rarely happens but they can void it depending on any small print in the policy.

Really appreciate all the help and info. Guess I'll have to just make up my mind now lol.

That Cerato hatch looks really good. Does anyone have a US link to those springs? I can only seem to find a British link.

Would the drop on the hatch be a little more due to the extra weight on the back? I wouldn't think it would be a lot but just wondering. I used the Eibach springs on my GT, looks good, drives fantastic.

I was thinking the same. May make a small difference. Probably negligible though

Yes I have. They’re still around, and @Hamster-GT found a picture of an LXS on them and they look great. Haven’t gotten a set for my car yet, but planning on it for sure. See my FE build thread here - specifically towards the bottom of page 1 and the links at the bottom of post 3 - Noturbonoproblem's Base Model Journey - '21 FE...

Awesome man thanks so much. After doing a little looking around on my own I've decided I might get these instead: Storm Lowering Springs - Various Applications They are $100 cheaper than the link you gave previously, but they seem to be the exact same product. I may be completely wrong about that though, are you able to tell? Either way, they will fit my car because they have a Forte torsion beam option, so I may just try them out.

Also, after reading through your page you have an awesome build dude i'm gonna learn a lot about this car off of you so thank you so much.

Thanks! Yeah those should be the same, provided you select the correct option (19+ Forte with torsion beam). Note that when you do that though, you’re only saving like 25 bucks over the link I gave. Still a savings, but not $100 savings.
If you go for it, post how they are! Pictures, ride quality experience, etc

Interesting, for me it shows a $105 difference. ($400 from the k5optima store and $295 from the website i linked) And for sure I will give my review and post pictures. hopefully I can get at least a 1 inch drop from these and they still ride like stock. the reviews from the website you posted are great, so i'm hoping for those results. Again thanks for your help :)

Ah that explains it. I was going off of M&S's website - $325 from their website. Sounds good! Excited to see what you think, since I've had them in my sights for a while and have been hesitant to pick up a set since I couldn't find a lot of customer feedback about them.
