I'd say that the 22 mpg in city driving is about what I get. Today's mileage on the highway was the best I have yet received. The same engine in my 2009 Sonata got 36 mpg one time. It may just take some time to get it "loosened" up so that the best mileage comes out. I'm sure the 2.0 would have to get better but then there is more engine noise and less power. But I would go with a little less economy to have the added benefit of the power needed for quick passing. That came in quite handy when driving through those Arkansas hills/mountains this week.I struggle to stay about 22 MPG in mostly city driving. On the highway I can get 34+ easy
