This build is probably going to be a slow process. I just wanted somewhere to document and bounce ideas off of people. Package got here around 2. At 3:15 I took it for a test drive. Pulls a lot harder. Just got up to 60 on a back road so no highway test yet. With the windows down I heard a slight blow off when I let off the gas. I’m happy with my first upgrade.

Which pipe is this one? What company, any issues doing the install or did it go perfect?

Sxth hot pipe. The only issue was one of the old
Hose clamps was faced at a weird angle. I just had to turn it with channel locks. Went in really smooth. Didn’t really have directions just a picture. It was a straight foreword install. I’m disappointed I didn’t get a sticker or anything. 😞

Stickers used to be so cool they added horsepower.. not so much anymore

I like decorating random stuff with them though. Water tumbler, refrigerator, hard hat at work, lunch box. There’s all sorts of stuff that can put stickers on. Lol. But never on a car.

That SXTH hot pipe have a mounting support? I hear some come with and some don't.

if you zoom in on the sxth pipe. You can see a little support spot in the middle on the pipe. So yes it does have a support.

The original SXTH hot pipe came with a bracket. Then SXTH sold the hot pipe without any clamps or brackets, Now the latest version has a holding bracket - sold as "2nd Gen" hot pipe.

I have the second version that came without anything - mad my own holder and use a tie strap to keep it from hitting the engine undercover.

Several members have devised their own clamps.
