Hey guys, as some of you know I have been on this site for a while now and have a few pics in the garage feature, but got mods done and would like to post them and get some feedback.

Edit: Theres a reason for the license plate if anyone was wondering btw. I didnt buy the car FOR my girlfriend (I have gotten that like 3 times). No need to explain, unless someone cares enough to ask.

Thanks Chester! The Volume/Mode/Mute and of course cruise control work but the bluetooth functions ON the steering wheel dont. The bluetooth controls now need to go through the navigation which isnt that big of a deal but I can no longer SAY "call home" or something...just have to press the button which idrc about

LOL, KIA, this is one of the best systems I've seen for the price and what it is capable of. I have a back up camera also hooked up through this and its satellite ready and HD ready along with every other feature you can prob think of. I couldnt love this more and the dash kit was only 30$ and came in a day! I think that this makes the car look like a top end car. People cannot believe its a Kia....and I love when i stump people haha

Lol it's a clarion nx500...then just got the 30$ metra dash kit and had it installed and viola...I'm happy it's rly nice and looks better then all those texty looking ones...getting a pioneer or kenwood is kinda silly cuz this compares to them and is half the price and personally I like this one better then any of the major companies...I would absolutely recommend this to anyone looking for a double din nav

Clarion is actually not a bad company, not a lot of people like them though for some reason. Looks good man! Now I care to ask about the license plate haha whats up with that?

Couple of questions,

Do you have a backup camera installed? If so does the head unit automatically display the backup camera when you put it in reverse?

Were you able to retain the stock usb and aux inputs?

What wiring harness did you use?

Yea I get that people don't like clarion either I don't get why. But idk ive never had a problem with them and this unit is really good so I will let people buy products that they trust and if clarion isn't one of them then too damn bad lol...um well my girlfriend (who's 21) was diagnosed with a form of cancer a few months ago and is going through chemotherapy right now. It is a cancer plate dedicated to her cuz I wanted a vanity plate but couldn't make up my mind on what I wanted to do and figured this was my favorite looking plate. It makes her smile so that's all that matters to me.

Shesaboy: I DO have a backup camera installed. It is built into the license plate frame and has 6 LED lights to help with night vision. As soon as I put it in reverse, no matter what is displayed on the screen, the camera will show up and is my 3rd eye for backing up to be honest I actually havent tried the stock USB and/or aux ports. I will try them tomorrow and let u know. I just don't need them, I have an iPod audio/video cable running through my center console and sticking out for me to use so I don't need them anymore. I'm not sure what wiring harness i have cuz I didn't install it, I didnt buy anything special such as a wiring harness. Everything came with the nav unit and just had to add on the steering wheel control cable and iPod cable. Hope this helps...thanks btw, I love it!

Your headunit looks really good. Hope u enjoy it. And the liscense plate is soo sweet. I hope ur girlfriends doing okay and gets threw everything

are you able to use the usb and aux port still or will you have to modify it a bit to have something work.
