Thanks! the tints are not as dark as you think, it looks very dark since gloomy day
I believe it's 35 front and 20 or 25 the rest
I went to get the vinyl roof done and the person who worked on my roof also did the tail lights. He did such a professional job, I was watching while he was working on them but it was a very smart thing that I didn't even try to do it myself
I had my windows tinted 2 days ago, and I asked the guy about tinting by tail lights. He told me to buy spraycan stuff... But I saw a youtube video that used 3m film.
Spraying them looks nicer but strongly not recommended if you want to take them off later on. If you are going to keep them smoked, go ahead with sprays but if there's any chance that you want to get them lighter or remove completely go with films.
Yup, that's the one! You gotta try and make it, at last count there are something like 20 - 25 members showing up with lots of swag for those showing up. I'd like to see you and your ride tomorrow.
The vinyl roof looks good. Think it works best on a white car like you have.
I really like the tint job on the taillights too. I've been wanting to tint mine but I've been holding off cause I feel they turn out cheesy and cheap looking sometimes but I may go something like what you've done. Is the tint only on the reverse/turn signals or is it the whole thing and just emphasized on the reverse/turn signals?
who's shinzo? im trying to think of a place here in the states that would do something like that... i'll just have to ask around. i have a lot of friends taht "trick" their cars out. and do you have the link for the fogs?? those look so dank thankks for the info!!!
They are very kind and provides good services. Some parts were missing when the fog lamp set arrived and they apologized and willing to send the missing part right away with the tracking number.
You can get the fog lamp kit with/without HID. Of course there are price difference.
hows the vinyl holding up/look? i was gunna head over to Shinzo in the spring to get it done too, probably a gloss finish. hopefully they can do the side mirrors...
guys, just wondering. cause im plannin to polish and wax my car. is it a good idea to wax the carbon vinyl sticker area? im thinkin of stickin it on the hood.
You should be able to wax it with no problems. just dont use a buffer. Im a detailer for a Porsche dealer and I wax over some vinyl decal work and have no issues, it can get tricky getting the wax out from the edges but it wont hurt anything given that the vinyl was applied properly
I wonder how a Vinyl roof would look on my Racing Red Koup...
what exactly was the procedure to have them vinyl top your roof? Im curious because I cant see actual vinyl being placed ontop of the roof. I can see it being repainted but not actual Vinyl fabric.
