Are you saying that you didn't have to do any of the drilling or cutting I did? You just installed this light with no modifying?

correct, it still fit. i took the camera and reverse lights off my and put that on the new light and snapped it all on and put the 10mm nuts back on. the ran the wires

Sounds like you got the entire fixture and not just the light/reflector! Can you provide pictures of what you actually got?
