You're forgetting your favorite brand SXTH Element with their open air intake. It looks good but geez it's expensive:

That I found this AFE Power 56-10005D Takeda Momentum Pro Dry Cold Air Intake...not sure which one i want to go with. I leave in East Tennessee so we have alot of crazy weather. What yall think. Thanks

i think i would like this one better. I keep reading the others that are closed off you cant hear them as well and the BOV. this picture here is a 2021 Kia Forte GT right. just wanting to make sure before i order. thanks again

The [email protected] 69-5317TS........what I see it should fit my 2021 Kia Forte GT
If you're after the dose noise (I just learned that the sucking noise from the turbo is called 'dose' just the other week), the aFe enclosed intake is not for you. You might hear once in a while but otherwise it's nice and quiet.
However the great thing about the aFe unit is that when you do want the noise, it's just a matter of removing the enclosure and runninf it open air. You just need to fashion a bracket to keep it secure.

Is he still using the factory BOV.
I looked it up and man that thing is bad ass and the tube is 3.75 in dia......thats huge

I wonder if you lose any power from sucking in hot air? Any experience with this open box setup?
There's always going to be strong argument from both sides. I found this video quite informative
