I'd suggest calling Kia's Tech Support. I called them shortly after getting my SX 5 door on December 29, 2010 to complain (nicely) about the aggressive throttle. They were very professional and personable and sent me a $100 MasterCard for experiencing "a bump in the road". It didn't solve the accelerator problem, but it was a nice touch.
Since you probably haven't been lucky enough to win the lottery, I'm guessing there are others who have experienced the same problem. However, the sunroof on my SX is quiet (no wind noise or rattles) and doesn't leak.
