Hey Guys,
Well I have had my Koup EX since August 10 and absolutly love the thing! However now i have some money saved up and am looking to put it over the top. Some things i want to do - upgrade my sound system with some subs/amp. In addition I want to have my speakers LED like the LX version and would also like to put LED on the floor that pulsate to the music. My only problem is that I have no experience with cars or systems and would not know where to start. IF anybody could help me out I would really appreciate it.
List of what I need, List of system (Under 300ish) how to install, anything else i can to do my car.
Let me know !
THanks
Kenny

They sell light kits that pulsate to music for car at Autozone. Last I checked they were like $24 per 20" tube I believe. It plugs into any auxiliary power (cigarette light type) and has a switch with Off/On/Pulsate. I had blue ones mounted under my driver and passenger side dashes in my old car. Regarding the audio upgrade, you should post in the Audio thread, not here. Good luck.
Hate to say it but if you've never dealt with an audio install then leave it to a professional. I say this because I had my friend install a sub and amp in my last car and my trunk caught on fire!

TOTALLY AGREE!! if i were u i would take the car to these audio system places and let them handle the job!! pay my friend its better to be sure that u have it done by a professional then to do it yourself...wouldn't want my trunk to get on fire! LOL!!
You gotta start somewhere when it comes to DIY. Ideally with an older car way out of warranty tho. ;)
Well you can always attempt it yourself and get it right and save some money or pay someone who knows what they are doing and if they mess something up will take responsibility and fix it. There is a line between DIY that you will have to determine where that line is. I personally will not mess with wire work unless its HIDs.
and just as an example of wiring chaos----
here is a link to a story pretty much along the same lines- from our singaporian fortes-
