Nobody from the forum has traded in their Forte for a K4 yet?! 🤔

I have only seen one, on the freeway and I was not going to pass it because it felt awkward even looking at it. Like a relative in their underwear in your living room.. it was a terrible experience… the k4.

It really is too bad - Kia could've had a great car for Forte owners to trade up to. Instead they think everyone wants an EV "wanna be" car. Who knows, 50% did vote a certain way, maybe there are more people who want that kind of car than we realize. Problem is the K4 simply lacks the visual appeal that people who appreciate cars can admire. I honestly have no idea what I would do if I needed to buy a new $22,000-26,000 commuter car tomorrow.

27 K4's collecting dust at the dealer near us. 58 of them at the dealer in NY we got or 2022 GT-line from. Should be seeing big discounts and low apr on these to get rid of them.
Pizza Hut is going to score on their new fleet.

Can’t say I’ve seen any in the wild in the greater Phoenix area. I do drive at less peak hours so that may be a factor.

Yep for the majority of the population they look at price, features and value for money first. Visual appeal usually comes in pretty last place.

I had a neighbor who 2 years ago bought a Subaru and I was like "Ah you traded in your Mazda 3 for it?" -- and she replied "Oh it was a Mazda?"

picking up my daughter a K4 GT-Line tomorrow in Interstellar Gray with the red interior. Coming from a totaled Honda Civic. I really love the Civics, but the price ended up being $80 less each month with far more options on it standard and a longer warranty. Personally I hate the back end and wheels, but I ain't driving it and hopefully the black Civic rims fit on it for a full set of snow tires next winter

It’s a 2025 k4 I got it in October. I’m not gonna lie tho I definitely do miss my Forte. This car just looks more “futuristic” I guess. The interior is veryyyy comfortable. I drive more than I sleep at this point and the comfortability level is top tier. The cup holders I do not like at all, they’re very hard to clean and there’s no space to put any personal items like my phone, headphones, pencils, chapsticks, etc. there’s no sunglasses holder, and the glove box is SO TINYYYY. However I have black and green interior it looks very nice, the steering wheel is comfortable except it’s D shaped on top and bottom so there’s limited steering wheel covers. Everything on the dash is very easy to navigate and I love it. Back door handles are up on the sides near the windows on the outside and I love that. Trunk is very spacious, overall id give the looks of this car a 8 and the interior aspect probably about the same. It’s not the best car in the world but it definitely isn’t how everyone is picturing it out to be so negatively. I will say though I’ve had this car for 3-4 months now, and just last week my battery died after sitting in my work lot for 6 hours turned off, and had to tow it back to Kia to put in a whole new battery. Idk what all that was about but it’s running fine now. For interior, I added one pic of my old 2023s forte and then 2 pics of my k4s interior right now

Went to San Antonio car show in Nov. 2024, got a close up look @ the K4, then looked @ Toyota Corolla, unfortunately Honda wasn't @ the show, wanted to look @ Civic, I can say comparing Corolla to K4, Corollas are nice but pricing, K4 is priced @ least 4K less, so I think K4s will sell well. Kia is about selling lots of vehicles, and they are good at that. Japan has a problem with Korean - Hyundai / Kia. K4s have same engines and transmissions as Forte, same car but a different dress. I baby my Forte, I want to see how many miles I get, so far no problems. I'm always wanting a new car. I was disappointed at what I saw with new vehicles, so expensive. If you want a very cheap, entry level vehicle, I would buy the Nissan Versa, but only with 5 speed manual. Yes they are putting 5 speed manuals in them. Not a 6 speed...my Kia Rio had 5 speed got tired of shifting after 14 years of driving it.

I saw a black K4 GT-line Turbo close up. They look better in black. The wheel arches don't stand out. Also front bumper and grill at least doesn't look like a snow plow on the Gt-line. It was really only the C-pillar that ruined it for me.
