It’s a 2025 k4 I got it in October. I’m not gonna lie tho I definitely do miss my Forte. This car just looks more “futuristic” I guess. The interior is veryyyy comfortable. I drive more than I sleep at this point and the comfortability level is top tier. The cup holders I do not like at all, they’re very hard to clean and there’s no space to put any personal items like my phone, headphones, pencils, chapsticks, etc. there’s no sunglasses holder, and the glove box is SO TINYYYY. However I have black and green interior it looks very nice, the steering wheel is comfortable except it’s D shaped on top and bottom so there’s limited steering wheel covers. Everything on the dash is very easy to navigate and I love it. Back door handles are up on the sides near the windows on the outside and I love that. Trunk is very spacious, overall id give the looks of this car a 8 and the interior aspect probably about the same. It’s not the best car in the world but it definitely isn’t how everyone is picturing it out to be so negatively. I will say though I’ve had this car for 3-4 months now, and just last week my battery died after sitting in my work lot for 6 hours turned off, and had to tow it back to Kia to put in a whole new battery. Idk what all that was about but it’s running fine now. For interior, I added one pic of my old 2023s forte and then 2 pics of my k4s interior right now

Went to San Antonio car show in Nov. 2024, got a close up look @ the K4, then looked @ Toyota Corolla, unfortunately Honda wasn't @ the show, wanted to look @ Civic, I can say comparing Corolla to K4, Corollas are nice but pricing, K4 is priced @ least 4K less, so I think K4s will sell well. Kia is about selling lots of vehicles, and they are good at that. Japan has a problem with Korean - Hyundai / Kia. K4s have same engines and transmissions as Forte, same car but a different dress. I baby my Forte, I want to see how many miles I get, so far no problems. I'm always wanting a new car. I was disappointed at what I saw with new vehicles, so expensive. If you want a very cheap, entry level vehicle, I would buy the Nissan Versa, but only with 5 speed manual. Yes they are putting 5 speed manuals in them. Not a 6 speed...my Kia Rio had 5 speed got tired of shifting after 14 years of driving it.
I saw a black K4 GT-line Turbo close up. They look better in black. The wheel arches don't stand out. Also front bumper and grill at least doesn't look like a snow plow on the Gt-line. It was really only the C-pillar that ruined it for me.

I have a Forte GT-Line, just saw the K4 Hatchback, that car looks pretty nice! That car I could see myself driving but not the K4 sedan.

I looked at it recently in a dealership. Love the inside, outside is so so but the hatch is going to fix that.
The interior on the K4 is first rate, nicer dash layout than a Honda Civic. The material quality used in the interior is also almost as good as the Civic. I was able to compare the two at an auto show. Also big upgrade over the hard plastics aplenty in the Forte.

My ex-wife has a 2019 forte I bought a K for two weeks ago. The upgrades are amazing for the K4. I absolutely love the GG turbo, but I also got the red and black interior with a charcoal out exterior. The car is absolutely amazing handled great I’m getting 30 miles to the gallon. I can’t complain about the car absolutely love it smooth ride wasn’t paying attention the other night I was at 110 and didn’t even know it didn’t feel like it just an absolutely stunning car. The only downside I wish the passenger seat was electric for the front but with a dual AC controls the big LED display and you could change it The display on it also to analog or digital the braking system and the auto steer and the lane guidance and the nice thing about the back up camera is there’s three different backup cameras you could choose from so it’s an absolutely amazing. Amazing car. I absolutely love it.
10-4 on the K4 they are nice cruisers

Maybe in time I'll be able to like the look of the K4. Just too many odd angles. I was behind one today and the roof line is not a smooth look.
The K4 is selling well - 13719 in March and 13097 in April.
If sales stay the same the K4 will outsell the Forte.
