Just noticed this the other day, but has anyone else realized that there is no "low washer fluid" warning light with these cars? My wiper fluid stopped working today and after a few mins of a "WTF" moment, I popped the hood to check and sure enough it was dry as a bone.

I think this is the first car I've come across that doesn't warn you when you're washer fluid is low...

I have yet come across a car that told me windsheild fluid was low.

Kia is a funny company, lol we have a timer for the igniton key light.. but no other inside lights run off that timer. WTF??? lol,

We have a eye for auto shut off lights....But they don't come on auto when it gets dark.. again ??? why not ? its like kia goes half way then stops lol,

So honestly I'm not suprised that there is no warning for the window wash, it would be nice if we did have one thou.

Don't know if I've ever seen one on any car I've driven. Perhaps my friends Range Rover had one but.... in case it was not obvious, a Forte is not exactly a luxury vehicle. I can think about about 100 things that would be better to have then something to tell me my wiper fluid is low. On that note, it does hold a lot of fluid.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not bashing Kia in any regard. I just found it funny that they couldn't have spent the extra few cents (or dollars) to put a small sensor in the washer fluid tank. My old 1993 Mazda had it, lol. Not a huge deal, just something I noticed. It might become an issue in the winter when you're driving on a messy highway and suddenly run out of fluid. Guess I'll just have to keep a close eye on it in future years.

Actually my SX does have auto headlights. Maybe it's a Canadian thing. We don't however have the lights in the speakers. It's interesting why these differences exist between Canadian and American models?

Many low-end cars have a low fluid sensor...

I don't know where you're from, but around here, when it snows and the roads get all crappy, you're happy to know you're about to run out of windshield washer... Believe me.

Meh. I've had many cars. Some with it and some w/o it. Most of the time when the light does come on you have maybe 3 washes left. I have always carried a spare bottle in my trunk.

I top mine up at least every oil change, check it at least once a month or every week in the winter.

It gets ridiculous how stupid sheeple have become, we need an idiot light for everything, TPMS, all those safety nets (ABS, Airbags and stability etc...).

Seriously I see complaints for a low gas light HELLO you got a fucking big meter that tells you how much gas you have. When it's near low you better gas the hell up you don't need a light to say "Hey yeh I'm getting low on gas".

Autohead lights, yeh it's nice but is it that freaking hard to use a switch? The car already makes it even easier just leave it on it shuts off when you turn the car off. Why? why?

Dang! After reading this thread I just realized there is no warning light for low blinker fluid or low elbow grease...and Kia didn't put a radar, altimeter, or depth gauge in it either...what gives...LoL!

Why are you so quick to jump down people's throats? I think making fun of other members of the forum is just wrong. Not everyone on the forum is a grease head. Stuff can be explained to them, without trying to make them feel stupid.

Don't believe any car I've owned has had one, Acuras, Mazdas, Jeep, Toyotas. Usually just a once a year fillup for me. An idiot light for that seems a bit overblown imo. Just one more piece of electronics to potentially fail down the line.

Only the 2011 models come with Auto headlights the 2010 models of koup do not have it.

Hopefully soon to have a solution for this...Just haven't had the time yet.

Wow, some people need to chill. I'm no n00b. I practically rebuilt my old Mazda from the ground up...I know a thing or two about cars and how they work. I'm just pointing out the fact that a 15 year old car had a small light to warn you about washer fluid so you don't run out and go blind on the highway. It's happened before and it's not fun.

I understand it's as easy as popping the hood and checking but I just think it's something they should have considered...at least for cars being sold in climates that might need it.
