No "low washer fluid" indicator light?

Just noticed this the other day, but has anyone else realized that there is no "low washer fluid" warning light with these cars? My wiper fluid stopped working today and after a few mins of a "WTF" moment, I popped the hood to check and sure enough it was dry as a bone.

I think this is the first car I've come across that doesn't warn you when you're washer fluid is low...

The Forte is actually the first car I have driven that didn't have it - granted it's not that big a deal to me I just need to be more diligent with filling up the washer fluid. We're having our spring melt now so it gets digusting and I'm pretty sure if I drove enough I could get through a tank in a week!

I've mostly driven Japanese cars. The Toyotas and Nissans from the 80s I've driven all had the indicator.
Do you seriously need it.. No.. is it conveinent Fkn Right it is.. Especially in the winter.

Why are you so quick to jump down people's throats? I think making fun of other members of the forum is just wrong. Not everyone on the forum is a grease head. Stuff can be explained to them, without trying to make them feel stupid.
They should because it's common sense. People should learn a thing or two about what they own. You don't buy a puppy and not feed then say "Oh hey it didn't come with a feeding light. How was I supposed to know?"

Car maintenance is a part of the driver training in a lot of parts around the world. Why isnt mandatory in all of North America? Maybe it'd get some idiots off the road. If you cant do the basic steps of maintaining something you probably shouldn't own and operate it.

Yeah :) I'm excited about that

Wow aren't you a stand up human being.. Wonder why the world is full hate? Oh wait next time I'll ask Tebore, I'm sure he's got good answer on why we should berate people.

I'm going to have to agree with Tebore, you should be responsible for knowing how to do simple maintainence on a car.
