Just a quick question... saw some OEM Fogs and surrounds on ebay and wondered if the EX model is pre wired for the fogs or not. They were only $150 and that would be quite a deal if the EX's came pre-wired for the fogs and switch. Just curious if anyone knows.

Oh, and is the switch on the turn signal stick or on the dash by the dimmer switch in the SX?

Not pre-wired.

nope... for a factory install, (I think) the entire car's electrical harness would need to be replaced. A fuse that goes in the engine fuse box is not present. It can't even accept it because there is no connection for it (contact pins). You could do an aftermarket install using the OEM fogs, just need the wiring for it and the switch..

Thanks all, I figured that might be the case... I'll probably eventually do it and wire up my own switch. Not a priority though... the turbo on the other hand...

Hey thanks Linear, I did see that thread after the fact of course. Great write up btw. One question, did you buy a generic switch for the fogs or the oem? I'm not even sure if the fog light switch was on the turn signal stalk or on the dash by the traction control switch.
