I'm adding this OEM touchscreen to replace my current factory radio. I currently don't have a GPS antenna because my old radio doesn't use one. I just didn't know I had to have a GPS antenna, I currently have no reason to have it I use Android Auto for everything. This new touch screen does not have navigation what is the purpose of the GPS Antenna?

Aah, so you're East/South of Cleveland? I'm out West of Cleveland in North Ridgeville. Haven't looked at any stations, just going off what the local talking heads said on the news,
I did this on a 2019 Elantra. Mounted it as high up as possible under the dash and that worked fine. But I could never get rid of the battery nag warning. Also could not get the factory camera to work correctly. There a couple of threads on this and links to wiring diagrams in the AD Elantra forums.

Does everything work normal on the radio even though the GPS fault comes up. Also does the fault go away? All I care about is the FM radio

I want to disconnect the GPS antenna on our cars to avoid Kia from having access to every bit of info about my cars and the locations. Automakers Are Sharing Consumers’ Driving Behavior With Insurance Companies - The New York Times (nytimes.com) My 6spd that I sold months ago I can still log into Kia connect and operate the door locks and see where the car is every minute. Even my Ford Maverick I sold a couple years ago I can do this with as well. We deleted all the kia apps that connect to the car from our phones already as well. This GPS info is being sold to insurance companies and I want no part of that.
