Outside Temperature

I hate to admit it, but I miss having an outside temperature display in the car. Searching around I found this

Installation seems pretty straight forward except for the drilling through the firewall for the temperature sensor. Has anyone tried one of these or something similar?

Apparently not!!!:p

Knowing that some of American would kill for "R" package, auto climate control and outside temp display.............
Knowing the enormous amount of guns in USA........
Knowing states laws such as: shoot first ask questions later........

Kia did to all Americans a GREATH favor!!!;)

To volleytime, if you have an i-phone you couls get the app to monitor your ECU witch I'm pretty sure read outside temps.
The ECU monitors intake air temp at the manifold so quite a bit warmer than the actual temperature outside.

Always an option of a stick-on thermometer on the hood, like the one Mom has outside the kitchen window...
I ran a scangage on my crown vic, the intake temp was generally pretty close to ambient temp except when standing still. Then the air would become a little heat soaked.

We don't always take the time to ask questions after shooting.;)
Are you guys saying that the SX model in the US does not have climate control??? There is something wrong. I live in Puerto Rico and we have the SX with climate control, white and lemon green SX Koups. And this is as close to be part of the US without being part of it. I will not enter in the details of how we are a colony of the US.

Climate control was NOT avaliable in USA for 2010 model.
