I have 2000km's on mine now and just got it sealed and hardened at a detail shop on the weekend. Paint looks perfect and feels extremely smooth now :) Just have to spray wash now since dirt doesn't cling to it like before.

Nothing short of protective films will protect your paint from flying rocks. Unfortunately, most car manufacturers don't warranty their paint against 'impact damage' unless the warranty spefically warrants against it. In most cases, the defect must come from underneath (peeling, rust, etc) for a warranty claim to be opened.

I'm having the same problem in front of the rear wheels. I'm almost wanting to blame this on cheap paint or clear coat as this is the first car I've ever seen do this. But the hood seems to be fine which I would see as being the most abused from road debris.

kia canada gonna paid all the cost to repaint my front bumper that have ALOT of stun chip on. Im happy but its was a very long process to finally come to this new tonight ! the car only have 5000kms but the first 1000kms was the first call about it to kia about this problem! this totally sux since they are selling you a bumper to bumper protection but they don't really want to repair you under warranty ....

its not road chips becuase they would be up pretty much the whole length of the car . I worked in a paint shop for awhile and i never seen stone chips like this even had my painter uncle look at it and said it was something up with the paint . yeah i got some spots all over the car on top of the front left fender what it looks like to be paint pealing on the front bumper .
