Hey everyone! I'm bringing my Koup into a friend's bodyshop to have some custom work done and have been considering getting my mud flaps (the black guards on the wheel well behind each wheel) painted to match the body color. Has anybody here done this? If so, do you have any pics?

Well I have a black koup.. and the flap is black.. lol.. Win?..

To answer your inquiry, I think leave them the way they are, the flaps match the rear diffuser. It looks much cleaner that way. If you still wanna body paint match something, go for the door handles.

67beast: I was concerned about the paint getting chipped up too. You're definitely right about that. I was kinda thinking about leaving the inner wheel well parts black and just color matching the outter parts. And the paint bond on the black plastic is definitely a concern. I guess it was a smart thing to check with all of you:)
Main M: Ya, I wish they had made color matched flaps, but you're right about the fact that they match the rear diffuser. It's funny that you mentioned about color matching the door handles- that was gonna be my next thread- lol. I just wanna see some pics to see how it looks.

Thanks for the input crew!!!
