This mod is for the Sedan or Koup.
!NO WIRES NEED TO BE CUT!
Materials needed:
Electrical tape
Knife
10mm socket
Ratchet
Step one, remove headlights
Next remove the parking light
On the bulb there should be two nipples (hehe). Find the one that is closest to the bottom contacts. When you find that nipple, turn it facing up (ceiling).
Next, cut a piece of electrical tape just big enough to cover the RIGHT terminal.
Once you have done this, place the bulb back in the holder, and then put it back in the headlight. Before you reinstall the headlight, hook up the harness and test to make sure that you covered the correct terminal. If you turn on your hazard lights and one doesn't work, you covered the wrong one. Also turn on your headlight to make sure you did it correctly.
I know everyone is going to want a video of the final product so here ya go you vultures!
*Just uploaded video so might take a couple minutes before it playable.*
I did this with my last car and never ran into an issue. Might pose a problem for inspection but easy to undo.
I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE IF YOU MESS UP ANYTHING ON YOUR CAR. DO AT YOUR OWN RISK.
