Hi guys

For the SX Koup, there is a piano finish for the plastic parts on the front bumper.

Just wondering if anyone tried or is it easy to DIY on the EX?

How expensive it is to take it to a shop?

Thanks

Your dealer should do this at a low cost, I remember before I bought my SX, the Dealer offered me a much better deal at the EX + the piano trim at the front + some other things, but basically install was going to be done for the trim in an hour.. that was around 90$.. just the labor.

You could try painting the pieces but I don't know what paint would stick to that stuff since it is textured. I asked a decal place to see if they could put carbon fiber looking vinyl on them and it wouldn't stick when they tested it. Might be cheapest to buy those pieces yourself and pop them on. The guys that have taken off their front pieces should know how easy it is to swap.

Good news, the 2011EX come standard with fog lights and piano black pieces as standard (just like the SX)

THe rims unfortunately remains the same.

Source: Just test drove a 2011 EX in Toronto today.
