OK, so we all know what a cold air intake does. However, it lowest temp it can ever get is the ambient air temperature outside, if set up to do so.

But, is what I would like to know.... Is there a (intake side) product that exist that can chill air cooler than your A/C Cabin air, that goes into your engine?

I know Nos is something along these lines but I'm talking a device that Chills air super cold before entering the intake, Kind of like a pre intake air cooler thing.

There's Water/MET injection. A process where you inject a liquid that will évaporate. Since liquid need energy to pass from liquid to vapor state it should cool your intake charge.
I don't know much about it thought!

Its pretty much chilling the Cold Air Intake with CO2, as well as the Fuel Line, and Intercooler if you got one. Dropping the air down almost 40+ degree's going into your engine.

only thing I'd have to ask about the cry02 is if it doesn't put too cold of a charge to the intake mani? this is one of the main reasons nitrous is dangerous, especially if you're using nitrous injection in a turbo app, it's so cold that it can crack internal components, which is why water/methanol is used a lot, it's not as cold but a lot safer.

The good thing about Cry02 is your not Injecting anything into your engine.

Each one of the parts is just spraying CO2. For example the first stage of the kit I am going to be getting is a attachment for my cold air intake.

It comes with a section of 3 inch to bolt on the end of the CAI that comes with a bulb inside of it that the CO2 Sprays into. It makes that bulb ice cold so when the air passes over it its like passing over ICE dropping the air the intake is sucking in.

Since your not injecting anything really into your engine there is no chance to damage anything.

Now this is not going to increase the HP on your engine crazy but it will improve your HP because it is Cooling the air.

When I get my turbo kit, I am going to run the same set up as that picture. Spraying I expect to get about a 20+ HP gain.

they got cooling systems for turbos and superchargers so you dont have to run an intercooler. they run off of like chilled water or an a/c refrigerant kind of deal. forget what they are called... but heres a link... not for the forte

Cool. Somewhat what I had in mind. I like turbos, but they're too expensive if you don't have the 4 grand to drop. I want to design something that maybe costs about a grand, or less, can cram air through the intake and chill it at the same time.

I really want to install the alcohol methanol system in my car, I just dk where to get it, which type to get, and how dangerous it could be. I know it adds some nice power. I was thinking of hooking it up to the windshield washer sprayer.

The answer to that is NO, think about it, you are putting that in the intact track, thus making it more restrictive.
